This isn't your typical Aladdin story.
There is an arranged marriage.
There is a billionaire.
But there's also his assistant, who happens to have a lucky charm lamp.
When he offers that lamp to Aaliyah, her luck changes in ways she never imagined. Soon, she has to realize if it's really the lamp giving her luck, or if she can make her own luck to be with the man she loves.
Taking a contemporary twist on Aladdin, where the princess character gets the lamp instead of Aladdin himself, was SO MUCH FUN to write. It's free in KU, and I'd love to know what you think of the story!!
